On September 26–27, 2025, in Hue City, the annual Risk Management – Card Association Conference took place under the theme “Bank Card Security – Risk Management in the Digital Era.” The event marked the 15th anniversary of the Risk Management Subcommittee, gathering leaders from banks, financial institutions, and technology enterprises to discuss challenges and solutions for secure digital transactions.

Representing MK Group, Mr. Bui Thanh Quang – Head of Financial & Banking Solutions, delivered a keynote presentation titled “Enhancing Bank Card Security and Comprehensive Risk Management in the Digital Age.”

He highlighted the growing threats of phishing, deepfake, identity fraud, and data breaches, emphasizing the need for a proactive, multi-layered, and adaptive security system. Mr. Quang also introduced MK’s comprehensive ecosystem of security solutions, including:

• MK BankID, a multi-factor authentication (MFA) platform aligned with the State Bank of Vietnam’s standards;
• e-ID, integrating citizen ID and VNeID data for identity verification;
• SmartCA Remote Signing, enabling secure remote digital signatures;
• FIDO2 for phishing-resistant authentication;
• Crypto Security Platform (CSP) and Prim’X, providing encryption, key management, and post-quantum–ready certification.

These innovations empower banks to enhance transaction security, comply with legal frameworks, prevent fraud, and deliver seamless customer experiences in an increasingly digital financial landscape.

As over 90% of banking transactions now occur online, experts emphasized that risk management is not merely a technological challenge but a strategic imperative to sustain customer trust and system resilience.
