On the morning of January 13, 2025, MK Group and its member companies proudly participated in the Science and Technology Exhibition, held as part of the National Conference on Breakthroughs in Science, Technology, Innovation, and National Digital Transformation. They showcased their outstanding scientific and technological research and development achievements, contributing to Vietnam's digital transformation. The event, held at the National Assembly Building, was attended by General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and other current and former Party and State leaders.

At the booth, MK Group introduced and demonstrated two key products to the Party and State leaders and delegates. These included AI Camera devices, manufactured by MK, which have been successfully piloted in Phu Quoc City in collaboration with the RAR Center of the Ministry of Public Security.

Leveraging their expertise in edge processing technology (where data is processed directly on the device chip) and with devices researched and manufactured at the MK Vision factory in Vietnam, MK Vision's AI camera solutions are widely used for various applications. These include citizen identity authentication, tourist control at airports and seaports, traffic management (vehicle and traffic violation detection), and hotel/motel guest management.

These applications help update and enrich population data. They also play a role in maintaining security and order by detecting wanted individuals and illegal activities. Furthermore, they support socio-economic development by, for example, measuring visitor flow for service providers and tourist areas.

In addition to AI camera products, MK Group is also showcasing the benefits and applications of electronic identification cards for government, businesses, and citizens. Citizen eID card replacing traditional personal documents and enabling citizens to access a wide range of services easily and securely.

The national population database acts as a centralized data center and is a crucial national infrastructure, supporting data access and authentication for government agencies and socio-political organizations. The chip-embedded electronic identification card functions as a distributed database, enabling businesses, banks, and financial companies to conduct secure, accurate, and convenient identification and verification activities.
